What is the Startup Membership at T-Works?
The Startup Membership at T-Works is a program designed to provide hardware startups with access to
facilities, resources, and benefits to support their prototyping and product development journey.
Who is eligible for the Startup Membership?
Hardware startups registered under DPIIT in India or the extended sub-continent, and currently at the
prototyping stage of their product development, are eligible for the Startup Membership.
What are the benefits of the Startup Membership?
Benefits include 24/7 access to essential tools and equipment, expert mentoring and consulting services,
access to vendor networks, and events and networking sessions that happen in the facility.
What is the duration of the membership?
The membership is offered on a monthly basis, with a maximum duration of three months.
How many access cards will my startup receive?
Startups purchasing the membership for 3 members will receive 3 access cards, and those purchasing for 5
members will receive 5 access cards. However, only the purchased number of members can access the facility
at a time
Can I transfer my access card to another individual?
No, access cards are non-transferable and can only be used by the designated team members of the startup.
Is parking available at T-Works?
Yes, parking is available for startup members. Each startup member is allocated one parking slot as part of
their membership. Additional parking spots will incur extra charges.
How can I cancel my Startup Membership?
Startup memberships can be cancelled at any time by notifying the support team before the start of the next
billing cycle. No refunds will be provided for partial months.
What facilities and equipment are available at T-Works for startup members?
T-Works provides access to essential tools, equipment, workspace, storage, and testing facilities necessary for
prototyping, fabrication, assembly, and testing of hardware products. Please check out our facility page to

Is there a mentorship program available for startup members?
Yes, startup members have access to expert mentoring, coaching, and consulting services to guide them
through the prototyping phase and address any technical or business challenges they may encounter. However,
mentorship services are charged on an hourly basis
Can I use T-Works facilities for commercial production or manufacturing?
T-Works facilities are primarily intended for prototyping and product development purposes. However, we can
help connect startups with our network/community for mass manufacturing.
Are there any restrictions on the use of T-Works facilities?
If your startup requires continued access beyond the maximum duration of three months, please contact your
Point of Contact (POC) to discuss options for extending your membership.
Can I bring guests to T-Works?
Yes, startup members are allowed to bring guests to T-Works. However, only 5 guests per week are allowed,
and nobody below the age of 18 is allowed without guidance. Please refer to the membership handbook for
more information on guest policies.
How do I report equipment malfunctions or facility issues?
If you encounter any equipment malfunctions or facility issues, please report them to the support team
immediately. We strive to address all issues promptly to ensure a smooth working environment for our
members.
Are there any networking opportunities available for startup members?
Yes, T-Works provides networking opportunities for startup members to connect with other members, industry
experts, investors, and potential collaborators through events, workshops, and community meetups.
Can I bring my own materials for prototyping, or are materials provided?
You can bring your own consumables provided it is safe and permissible (read the handbook ). Members have
access to a retail shop and T-Works' vendor network to source materials. You are free to bring your own
materials but make sure your membership experience champion is duly informed before bringing the material
to T-Works. It is your responsibility to keep your materials safe.
How can I protect confidential work?
T-Works does not take responsibility for IP protection. Individuals must safeguard their product’s IP independently.
