✔ Total Sessions: 9 sessions (2 hours each)
✔ Session Conduction: Thrice a week (Working days only)

✔ 2 free open studio sessions (to be utilised within the course duration)
✔ Materials: 10kg of terracotta/stoneware clay,
basic tool kit will be provided (Carry your own appron)
Program Structure
Session Modules

Understanding earthenware, stoneware and porcelain; plasticity, grog content and workability.

Dust management, ventilation, safe handling of raw materials and studio protocols.

Overview of essential handbuilding tools: loop tools, ribs, wire tools, bats and sponges.

Wedging techniques (rams head & spiral), detecting air pockets, ideal clay consistency.

Machine overview, safety interlocks, feeding clay, cleaning procedures and maintenance log.
Practical Modules

Hand-centring clay, forming walls by pinching, and achieving even thickness and smooth lips.

Creating enclosed vessels, joining pinched halves, blending seams invisibly.

Rolling uniform coils, building a cylindrical pot, blending interior and exterior coils.

Hand-rolled slabs, leather-hard joining, making a simple square tile or tray.

Loading, operating, extruding and cutting recycled clay; producing wedge-ready logs.
