About the Championship

Get ready for T-Works' inaugural national embedded challenge, The Byte Bending Championship!

We're looking for the brightest and best young embedded engineers under 25. If µCs, puzzles, code, debugging, and soldering are what interest you, then this adventure is for you. Expect an electrifying journey of learning, failing, experimenting, and simplyfying. It's your chance to turn what you know into a real-world solution. Stay tuned for updates and unleash your inner tech genius at the Byte Bending Championship.

Eligibility

Participants have to be a student of a recognized engineering college/university in India
Participants can be of any year of study.
Maximum team size is 3 and minimum of 1, recommended to have 2 at least.

Timeline

Competition Structure

Round 1

Mode : Online

Time: 1.5 hrs Online

MCQ, Short Answer test.

The online test can be attempted in the given time window (would be specified in the mail). The test link would be mailed to the team lead 1-2 days before the round. You can google, Chatgpt (FYI we made it chatgpt proof [tried to]) or refer datasheets if required.

Submission Guidelines: You can submit your answers before the time limit expires, or they will automatically be submitted once the time ends.

Evaluation Criteria: Teams scoring the maximum score would be shortlisted for the next round.

Round 2

Mode : Online

Selection Process

Qualified teams will get the chance to brag about their projects and embedded skills during the selection process.

Submission Guidelines: Teams may be required to share their Git repository links or project documentation before the evaluation round.

Evaluation Criteria: The evaluation will focus on factors such as creativity, authenticity, usability, efficiency, and more.

Time: 24hrs

Teams surviving round 2, will compete for the ultimate showdown at the awe-inspiring T-Works facility! Get ready to push your hardware and firmware skills to their limits in a heart-pounding 24-hour marathon of challenges. The team that tackles the challenges with the utmost efficiency will earn the prestigious title of 'Byte Benders’!!!

Travel Reimbursements

T-Works values participants from outside Hyderabad. We are pleased to offer travel reimbursements for food and accommodation expenses up to a certain amount. Please stay tuned for more details regarding the reimbursement amount

FAQ'S

The championship is a national competition designed to challenge and celebrate the skills of embedded engineers.
Undergraduate and Postgraduate engineering students under 25 years of age are eligible to participate.
The first two rounds are virtual/remote, involving coding and hardware challenges. The top teams will compete in a grand finale at T-Works.
Participants have the chance to win cash prizes worth Rs. 1 lakh, along with exclusive championship merchandise.
Yes, we offer travel reimbursements for food and accommodation expenses to participants from outside Hyderabad. The reimbursement amount will be announced soon.
There is no registration fee for the event.
